Used Up And Tossed Away
I have a neighbor, we'll call him Larry. Larry is a project coordinator for a large construction company based here in Michigan. Last year, Larry was told by his company that due to the slow down in building, he would have to agree to go to Florida to work if he still wanted a job.
Reluctantly, he agreed to go down to Florida to head up a project for a new hotel. He was told if he did a good job down there he would have a secure future with the company. Larry left his wife and two young children home as he went off to work in Florida. He worked six days a week for four straight weeks so that he could fly home to spend 3 days with his family. For an entire year, Larry saw his family only for three days once a month. He missed out on the lives of his 3 year old and 5 year old children for the whole year. To comfort the children, Larry's wife put web cams in the children's rooms so that he could say good night to them.
After one year, Larry finished the project on time, and under budget. He even found many extras for his company. A job well done, and he returned to Michigan and his family. That was Monday, April 27th, on Friday, May 1 Larry was fired. He was told his position was no longer needed at the company.
Wake up guys. It's not like the old days, when you worked for a company for 20 - 30 years and you retired with a nice pension, insurance and set for life. Today's companies are only interested in how much can they get out of you before they replace you. People are being layed off, out sourced, and replaced by the thousands everyday. Just look at the automotive industry in Michigan. You cannot put your families future in the hands of a company that is only looking out for their best interests. You have to be in control of your family's financial well being.
I invite you to take a look at business that I have pursued. I was a glazier for 13 years with no business experience at all. With a simple duplicateable system, I am able to generate three times what I made at my J.O.B. The best part is I do it from home, 30 hours a week. My family was worth the few minutes to look at some information, is yours?
