Have you ever found yourself driving to work in the wee hours of the morning wondering why? That's exactly where I was 2 years ago, getting up at 4:30 to drive an hour to work every morning. After a 10 hour work day, I'd have the privilege to drive home in rush hour, which added a half hour to my drive. Home by 6:00, just in time for dinner, or at least dessert. After dinner, it was homework with the kids then get them ready for bed. Tuck my kids in bed by 8:00, then I could get cleaned up and relax on the couch with the T.V till I fell asleep. I repeated this process for 6 days a week for nearly 12 years.
That's the schedule I had started at 25 years old. Of course in your twenties, you tend to burn the midnight oil. But in your mid thirties, it's a whole different story. Some people might rationalize this by saying " well at least your making some real money." The truth is, I would open that paycheck every week and find a whopping $1,034.28. That's a whole $4,137.12 for the month. Our basic bills were $4,000. That left my family with $137.12 a month to spend any way we wanted.
After 12 years of this pain, this struggle , this in just life, I declared that I was just sick and tired of living this way. My family deserved so much more. So I opened my mind up to all possibilities, there had to be a better way.
A better way does exist. It's becoming an entrepreneur. Think about it, at your job who makes the most, you or the owners. With no business or marketing experience, I had to find a system. A system that was proven and duplicatable, not to mention a low start up cost. I also wanted to find a business where I could leverage my time, unlike a brick and mortar, or a franchise. I wanted more money for family, but mostly I wanted more time to spend with them.
In January of 2007, I found that system. My wife and I now have a business that we can work from anywhere in the world with our cell phone and a laptop. We have the money and more importantly the time to enjoy life as a family, We are very passionate about the opportunity that has changed our lives and that of the many people we have shared this with. Everyone deserves to live a life of magnificence. All families deserve to learn about this opportunity.
